A Little About Moi

I’m a seasoned designer, product developer and entrepreneur based in Venice, CA with over 15 years experience in retail, apparel and brand innovation. I hold a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an A.A. from FIDM which has, along with decades of professional experience, provided me with a solid foundation for industry discourse and mechanics.

In 2020, I decided to take a step back from full time employment and scratch my entrepreneurial itch. In addition to my current freelance career, I founded Bonks, a femme-forward brand focused on travel-friendly personal care products. With Swiss Army Knife capabilities, I control the branding, marketing, collateral, website development, sales and manufacturing. It has been the highlight of my career and has taught me more than I could ever learn working within the walls of product creation and business management. I’ve grown to become more aware of the entire development process, from concept to completion to strategy to raising capital.

Graphic/Packaging Design: In addition to Bonks, I serve as both a project-based freelance designer and fractional CCO for small but burgeoning businesses. My career as an apparel designer graced me with a healthy breadth of experience creating custom graphics/prints, building art pages and trend forecasting. The transition to packaging design, branding and graphic-forward art has been seamless and where I envision my career to grow.

Apparel design: I’ve spent the bulk of my career in apparel design, working on a wide range of categories from technical outerwear to denim to swim. Having designed for both domestic and overseas manufacturing in both contemporary and mass markets, I’ve developed a thorough yet scrappy acumen for getting 👏 shit 👏 made 👏 .

On a typical day you can find me snuggling my kids, walking my dog, sipping my bottomless coffee, and plugging away in my lil office casita.
